"I expected good quality food at this famous chef's restaurant but we were stunned by the quality, taste and presentation of each dish. Surprisingly good value for such hih-level Spanish cuisine! Highly recommended."

We had a reservation for a couple of months before we even arrived to Spain for a window on the beach side. The sunset view was great and and perfectly set off with our dining experience. We a vegetarian in the group we didn’t do the group prefix menu. But we were far from disappointed. The service was friendly and helpful starting with the son of Karlos seating USA and starting us off. Every thing was great. The did have a veg dish available and for some apps, you just need to request the meat components be plated separately. Anyway, great experience tonight.

Me and my partner came here to eat because we spent semana santa in pais vasco and we just had to come. The food was amazing and what we loved was that the servers who served us both spoke in our mother tongues.. andrea spoke catalan and jovanna spoke tagalog. We were not expecting to receive this kind of treatment and it made the experience more memorable. The food was superb and the service was excellent! We hope to be back in the near future!

Excellent service, very diligent but not intrusive. The meals we chose were not less than superb. Do not expect high fancy cuisine with starving rations. Most of the options are apparently simple but delicious. Not pricy at all considering what, how, and where you eat. Will come back for sure. Very satisfying to be attended in basque by all the service, and I have to mention the green peppers with ham. Yummiiii

I treated myself to a night here whilst walking the Camino del Norte. Friendly and welcoming staff. Well appointed room and bathroom. But the real highlights were the restaurant and cafeteria. I had a really excellent lunch, and in the evening enjoyed a drink and tapas overlooking the sea. The following morning the breakfast selection was generous and high quality. A special place to stay.
