Got yelled at by an employee (manager? when asked what practices they use for those with nut allergies (this was on 11/6 around 3pm . The teenage employee at the counter was really nice but admitted he didn't know, while the older female employee making cones immediately got defensive and sarcastic. I asked nicely so I'm not sure why she was so mean about it but it was embarrassing and unnecessary as I had my little niece with me (who has some nut allergies and we were celebrating her birthday. For such a huge and trendy chain, I am super disappointed that the employees are not versed in common food allergy practices and would not trust coming here if I had a severe allergy. At the end of our visit, the employee who got snarky basically barked at us that if we wanted them to open a new container of ice cream, we would have to wait a long time, and that people call ahead (umm how was I to know this?! . Not a good look, Jeni's.
