In existence and popular since at least 40 years this restaurant has certainly seen better times in its kitchen. It is still a cozy, warm and inviting place but the food quality has certainly not matured. We came for dinner but were not overly hungry as we had travelled the same day.My wife had a starter and as an intermediate a pizza. Which looked, smelled and tasted suspiciously like a slice of some ready made stuff from the supermarket. Apparently they even did not bother to add some toppings. Awfull. My pasta was ok but nothing to write home about. The beverages were really pricey which is unfortunately the norm in Sylt.Staff was really friendly and caring so the evening was not a complete failure. So, if to see and be seen is your main topic, you can still go there, it is still very popular.Manne Pahl around the corner and Rauchfang on the opposite side of the street are nearly as popular but much better choices when it comes to enjoying good food.
