True definition of a hidden gem. This restaurant is tucked away at a golf course range and is such a hole-in-the-wall. Please be sure to call ahead of time to confirm their hours because their Yelp hours stated they were closed on a Wednesday, but when I called the day before, fortunately, they were kind enough to still open : The owner and the server here are so friendly and accommodating. They truly go above and beyond and meet great expectations! I love finding great small businesses like this that deserve all the support. The presentation is a 10/10 and I really appreciate how much effort and detail the chef puts in to his dishes. I also love the way he decorates kind messages such as peace and love to all the plates with sour cream. Soo creative and so beautiful!! The food itself is so flavorful and delicious. The portion size is perfect because I was pretty full afterwards. I love their salsas!! FYI: please keep in mind that there was only 1 chef and he is super hardworking, so it can take a little longer. This is the opposite of fast food because they really put their full attention to detail with each and every plate--so please don't expect to come here rushing them with an attitude. Highly recommend checking out and supporting the business!

I recently visited Gabriel Daniel's Mexican grill and I wanted to leave a 2-star review. Called to order ahead of time since we are working at the construction site next door. We seen great reviews so we figured it was a good place. We ordered around 1145am (we knew they opened at 12) they took our order, we walked there , waited for our meal. and other coworkers drove 5 miles round trip to another location and they were back and done eating before we got our food. Time is crucial for us since we only get 30 min lunch, should have know how no one from the construction site goes there. Lesson learned . Secondly, is that the portions of meat in the dishes were quite low. I understand food is weighed and it's a business but there were maybe .5 oz of chopped ground beef (yes chopped ground beef in our burritos) thought it was a Mexican grill but they mentioned it wasn't carne asada but steak, what we got was ground beef not steak. Additionally, I found the food to be lacking in taste.

Stopped by for a quick snack after a stroll by the water. It's next to a field where kids practice lacrosse and what seems to be a driving range under renovation or construction. Prices were ok and food was decent. Guac bowl was 11-12, chips and salsa for $3. Outdoor seating seems to be the park's. Prob will be nicer when golf course is done and patio seating vs park tables.

I love this place and so glad to see it still going after Covid. I've been here a few times a year for the past 5 years. The food is artfully and thoughtfully made and tastes great. The owners are so friendly and make coming here worth it. Plus it's great to support a small local business! Ditch the chain restaurants and come here! So worth it.
