idrove past my way to home from liverpool airport, thought that looks friendly with good off-road parking, so turned around and went into as soon as I opened the door I got a warm friendly greeting. I asked about the menu and was not up to one of the different choices and asked if it was possible to get a sausage sandwich with melted cheese, to my advantage this was not a problem, chips were added to the order. at the arrival the chips were homemade with skin on them and it also came with an salat garnish, the staff was extremely friendly and a glass really nice house bitter was also enjoyed. the overall experience was brilliant I will make another stop to enjoy both eating and gastfreundschaft, as the final note were the toilets spick and span.

as wet and tired walkers we received so a warm welcome in this beautiful pub. beautiful environment and excellent beer. we felt bad dripping our wet clothes on the floor, but it wasn't a labor, the beautiful staff, they even illuminated the fire for us to warm up next to. will definitely go back, the eating looked and smiling nice, although we don't get a chance to eat this, so pleased to try.

beautiful friendly pub with great looking eating. had no food, but what was brought out to the customers looked fantastic and a few on the same campsite were also very satisfied with the pub

beautiful pub parking overnight in the camping site and setting up was simply because of the very helpful owners. eating was great staff was very helpful will visit again

Very good food and big portions, friendly staff and cold beer after long walk, and dog friendly
