Cosy, vegan/vegetarian café in Buxton. Owners very welcoming and accommodating. We had the vegan mushroom soup with vegan butter and roll, Coronation tofu sandwich and the vegan Indian burger. All delicious and cooked to perfection. Also a very good selection of vegan cakes and vegan take-away frozen meals. A very small space but filled with love and good intentions. Give it a try. This is a small restaurant hidden away down a side street, but well worth seeking out. Vegetarian and vegan food at reasonable prices, cooked and served with the kind of TLC a small, proprietor-run establishment can bring to the job. Service quick, efficient and friendly. Snacks, light meals, drinks. Homemade pea soup (with a roll), a cheese onion toastie and a good cup of coffee set me back around twelve quid. Recommended.
We've always enjoyed excellent, freshly prepared food at the Herb Garden over the past 16 months. Interesting new dishes appear together with the tried and tested favourites. The home made cakes are pretty special too! We, along with friends and family, are always made to feel very welcome by all of the staff, service is very efficient. Highly recommended
amazing menu for vegans. we had the crowning tofu wrap around and the many baked gnocchi (omg tasty.) the staff was super friendly. I can't expect to come back and try the peace bowl and the dahl. great cake.
