I've been here more times than I can count on 2 hands. There's a reason for that and it's cause this spot is damn good. Corner 17 and Chilispot are the goats imo when it comes to authentic Chinese mixed with Americanized food. The result is consistently very good food and very few slip up's. The wait here can be very long depending on time of day. Their takeout and delivery game is pretty strong too. Also, there bubble tea next door in underrated. Do not go to the Boba spot across the street or you will not collect $200. Although there is a massive window where you can watch half pull noodles, those are not my go-to. Their chili dumplings, beef tongue tendon and 3 cup chicken are my favorites. I could eat that beef tongue and tendon weekly if those chilis weren't so harsh on my stomach lol. If you stick to the authentic dishes, you'll be fine. Even the non authentic dishes are very good. Food is pricey but portion size is shareable and the quality is excellent.
