Do not be miss-led by the bistrot look of this restaurant. We have eaten many cassoulet over the past 30 odd years but this one is to die for. David spends most of November and December in Chicago where the locals get the chance to eat this Languedocien delicacy. His menu also offers some great alternatives to cassoulet if so desired. One of our party went for the veal in Madeira sauce and she was enchanted (she is herself an excellent cook). We look forward to an excuse to return in the beginning of next year to try one of his other specialties, but not choosing the cassoulet accompanied by a bottle of Fitou, which is the perfect wine for the two tastes to compliment each other, may very well be too difficult. The desert called “cassoulet glacé” was superb as were the “profiteroles”. The prices are extremely reasonable and the personnel efficient.

I read the reviews of the other Cassoulet restaurants here and thought this sounded good. And it was! We had the Cassoulet menu €25 each for the salad starter, shared Cassoulet and dessert. There are other options on the menu. The waiter served the cassoulet out and explained what was in it. Now we've had Cassoulet before but this was something else, it tasted amazing. The chef David came over and explained the lengthy process involved in preparing the dish and clearly takes pride in the flavours. I thoroughly recommend you try here first for the local dish. We will return.

we went to this restaurant because of the many cheap reviews of the cassoulet served here. we both had the Fois-Gras-Starter who was good. I had the cassoulet and the reviews were right, it was one of the best I had eaten excellent. taste for the broth, boiled properly and full of deer, pork and sausage! my wife chose the duck breast, it was ok, but not great and needed a soak to bring her to life.
