Recently we had a family function at Chennai Palace. We carefully chose Chennai Palace as we have had positive experiences in the past, although it had been with dinner for 2-4 people. Having been born and brought up in Chennai, our standards for what constitutes Chennai cuisine was high. However, right from start, we felt vindicated that we made the right decision. Anbu and all the staff at Chennai Palace were friendly, accommodating and generous with their time and efforts. All our family and friends had a wonderful and memorable time and we would like to thank all the staff at Chennai Palace for all their hard work.So, don't hesitate to choose Chennai Palace if you want a homely, honest and authentic restaurant, staffed by humble and well mannered staff and food that is true to its heritage and doesn't compromise on quality or quantity. Therefore, it goes without saying that I would highly recommend Chennai Palace.
It was recommended by a friend whilst visiting Adelaide and we decided to try out. It was an unforgettable experience. The food was yummy and the service was personal. Highly recommended for families with kids as the atmosphere is homely.
They do a great south indian unlimited vegetarian buffet. Pretty authentic food and freshly made. Always popular and attracts a varied clientele. Ambience isnt great but food is wonderful. Recommended.
Authentic dosa are hard to find outside India, but Chennai Palace serves perfect dosa with authentic and super delicious accompaniments. Also the Saag lamb was perfect. We will be regulars.
