always have a pleasure, coffee and cake and a good natter in this friendly nabe. the chocolates are devine! I love it, an unusual box for friends pop in charlotte’s choose my chocolate and they are beautifully arranged in the box. my friends are happy about them. really good for every special occasion. Yesterday I bought a kind of deco box. asked for soft centers and the top layer with Christmas chocolate. it was a pleasure to observe them. the whole gift was nice packaged gift. so clever and no charge for her artwork! I wish I could thank her forever. I also noticed that they fill their own gift boxes as desired. also fascinated to observe how chocolate is made.
Yesterday at Charlotte's, I had the BEST scone I've ever eaten cherry and almond it was absolutely fantastic! It was so good I bought one to take home. I was even tempted to ask for the recipe, but I'm not a baker so thought better of it ; I don't live in Buxton but after that scone, I wish I did, it was that good!
had a beautiful afternoon tea, with many delicious sandwiches, quiches, scones, strawberries and minicakes with a pot tee. really good value, friendly staff and chilled environment and of course delicious chocolate
One of my favourite cafes and the chocolates are divine too, /the food and staff and wonderful and I like it because it is quiet and the food comes quickly and the portions are good.
