Carmelina's - Table reservation

I 've been to Carmelinas 3x now and every time I 've been blown away by the food. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is authentically Italian. You can tell the pasta is homemade, which is a must when you 're a restaurant in Little Italy. My favorite dish is the bolognese; it 's filling, tasty and a great combination of flavor. The waitresses who work there have been very nice to my family and I each time we go. Yes, getting a reservation there can be tricky (not only because it 's so in demand, but also because there 's limited seating), but it is 100% worth it.

First off, after seeing posts and reviews, I feel lucky we got right in without reservations. After a long flight home from Florida, this Italian food really hit the spot. The Rollati is INSANE. I've never seen or had anything like it, worth a trip.

The exploding little neck clams were spectacular. The Sunday Macaroni was very good, felt very homey. But nothing can match the clams!

One of the best spots in Little Italy. Food was delicious and the service was decent .
