We have eaten here before and the food has been good. However this time it was poor. The starter was buffet that you could return to as many times as you liked. This was good with a very good selection of things to eat. However, the mains were poor. I had what was called a rib steak on the menu. This turned out to be sirloin. It was cooked to how I liked it. But, it had little flavour and was offered with no choice of sauces. The frites were greasy and it was served with a few lettuce leaves. My wife had a fillet of Pollack. This was obviously a cook in the bag serving. To say it was overcooked is an understatement. It was dry and like shoe leather round the edges, The colour as quite off putting and it was really almost inedible. All in all a lousy meal. Next time we stay there we will go to the chines at the Carrefour nearby
The menu displayed a big plump juicy steak on the front. There was only one steak on the menu to order. When our steak arrived, it was a skinny bit of over cooked leather. When we questioned the picture on the menu, they said that they did not sell the steak in the picture. So misleading. Would have been better off in KFC! What a shame, French food is usually delicious. AVOID THIS PLACE
Quite the worst I have experienced anywhere in the world. I had fish. It was cold and over cooked, I waited for over 45 minutes just for the food. It took an additional hour to get a drink! Customer service was non existent. So bad it was comical. I am obliged to give this a rating. The fact is it does not even rate a zero. Worse than terrible.
Have eaten here several times over the years, and have yet to be disappointed. A bistro-style restaurant that features a varied menu, including several good-value formule (set menu) options amongst which is a truly excellent buffet des hors d 'oeuvres . Pleasant, modern surroundings and very friendly staff complete the picture.
