everything is completely new! a great concept was very well implemented architecturally and kulinaically! in the large courtyard you can sit outside and feel like a cursor inside the old walls, but inside the huge floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows allow a breathtaking view over city, river and weinberge. the local is so nicely built that you can still enjoy the beautiful view even from third row, because the room is built in terraces, whereby of course the tables are the most desirable (and quickly occupied) on the window.Maybe better it is no longer possible - except for the service that is always friendly but still has to be significantly improved (only find a card for three people, rather tasty service). the prices of the dishes - for this tourist city and this special attraction - are surprisingly favourable and especially for the quality served. the calves are excellent (as in a previous evaluation also visually confirmed). The price level for open weain (and drinks in general) is awkward because apart from two offered 0.2 l for 4.30 € (both very good!) you will find only overpriced from 5.70 € upwards; that is clearly too much. most weinbergs have to be in front of you, all weeps should come from an environment of only 15 km - so the transport costs should not be too high. this annoyance should be eliminated. Whether you walk up from the city through the weinberge (but there is even a bus up!) or from the parking lot of the (closed former) youth hostel a steep pavement way descends, it is definitely worth it!

only a few days opened and already a magnet! Tuesday evening, rainy and we had just luck to get a table for 2. type: reserve, otherwise there may be after the very strenuous rise no reward. the burgruine was great restored, despite strong rain she just looked great. thoughtful concept. inside and outside. the restaurant with the huge glass front is tastefully designed, with staggered flats you also have a brilliant view of the mosel Valley from the third row. our food was delicious: starter variation, taste of the calves or the layered nudelvariaton. a tiny tick more spices at the sidelines of the calfsbäckchen, but good quality and appealing presented. very good, attentive service! we like to come back.

the burgruine landshut offers a wonderful view over Bernkastel-Kues and the moseltal with the surrounding vineyards. the burgruine is good to walk after half an hour to reach. Unfortunately, it was built on the burg and was partially locked, so you could not see everything. The descent from the burg is situated on a small degree. so the view can go to the back valley and also to the mosel. about on the halfway lies the sighted-place shelter. we didn't go by. at windproof location we found a free table with a view over the mosel Valley. have eaten there too. I've tasted it.
