Happily we arrived early to this delightful little restaurant in the cathedral square in Bazas. We were en route to collect our family from the airport in Bordeaux and were in need of lunch. The waitress kindly found us a table for two which was lucky as it’s obviously important to book. The place filled up quickly while we were there and I can understand why. Our meal was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a delicate starter of tartare of trout, then I had chargrilled aubergine with the most amazing filling and side sauce so pretty on the plate. My husband had ventrèche of beef with a side of vegetables and a creamy sauce. A glass of wine each and coffee to finish. PERFECT. Imaginative, creative, delicate and well priced. Don't hesitate to try out this unique little restaurant.
