Babe's Doughnut

I’ve always heard about how good Babe’s is, but I feel like COVID might have affected their business. The Honey Lavender tasted fine if anything, it was too bitter for my taste. For a donut shop, the smell inside the store bothered both me and the friend I came in with. It definitely didn’t smell like a Krispy Kreme…When we walked in, the two workers behind the counter didn’t acknowledge us. When the guy moved to the cash register, he said nothing to prompt my order. Though the coffee tasted fine, I’d say the price, size, and customer service made the experience not worth it.

First time coming to this donut shop in Tuscaloosa! I got donut holes, Oreo donut, maple bacon donut, and a jalapeño kolache. All the donuts were amazing and my jalapeño kolache was so delicious! The person at the cashier could have smiled more but other than that I had a great experience and would come again!

The donuts and coffee were amazing, but the customer service is TOP notch! The young man often working recognizes me, has my order memorized, and goes above and beyond making small talk with me. It's such a personalized experience you won't get anywhere else. Highlight of my week are trips to Babe's!

The staff at this shop are so so nice, I almost feel bad writing this review. But the last time I ordered a matcha latte from here, I found a dead COCKROACH in my drink. You can tell it had been dead for a while because it was completely drained of color

Donut was favorable and satisfied my sweet tooth. Lots of variety to choose from! I would like to come back and try the honey butter biscuit
