One of my favorite places to chat and drink with friends! Atmosphere is great, bartenders are great, and pet friendly! I do wish they would take out the pinball machines and bring live music back though. I miss that! Never see anyone using those machines oreven hanging out in that space anymore.
The Alcove is one of our best bets when we meet Tuscaloosa for a game. A huge selection of beers, a great chill atmosphere and a mature but row-by-range amount.
The Alcove is definitely one of my three most popular bars in Tuscaloosa. Although it is in a college city, this is definitely not your average college bar.
Alcove is five stars in my book because a five for me means that if I was under house arrest and only pick up a lounge I could for the duration...
