Before I place any reviews I like to look at what other people have said. Must say some of the negative reviews are a bit puzzling. We greeted by a friendly waiter who showed us to our table and took our order. I had the snails to start. It came with a clamp thing (sorry don't know the name) to pick up the shells which I gave up on and picked them up by hand. Must say very nice lovely sauce with the snails. Mains I had some mussels and chips. Simply cooked in white wine again very good. TOH had trout on toast which she liked and for mains she had the duck in a pepper sauce. She said though the duck and sauce were nice however saying that she thought as a combination not to her taste. On the whole we had a pleasant experience .
En attendant le thalys à la Gare du Nord, je me suis rendu dans cet établissement pour y boire un Perrier menthe. Le serveur, relativement aimable m'a apporté un verre dans lequel il y avait déjà la menthe avec de l'eau gazeuse. Après avoir goûté, il s'avère qu'il ne s'agit en aucun cas de Perrier mais simplement une eau gazeuse de marque inconnue ! Arnaque, en apportant le verre avec un fond de sirop, j'aurais dû recevoir une bouteille de Perrier, ce qui n'etait pas le cas ! Je trouve cela dommage pour le client qui est berné une fois de plus.Le commerçant se plaindra par la suite quand il verra ses clients partir prendre une consommation à la terrasse d'un Mac Do ou similaire. Bienfait pour ce dernier.
The location is just facing the Galleries Lafayette so it was a nice place to stop for lunch and watch people go by. However, the food was disappointing. I had the plat du jour of faux fillet (sirloin steak) which was disappointing, meat was tough even though I asked for medium rare. The blue cheese sauce also somehow didn't go well with the beef. The french fries looked very good but it was just overcooked to the point that the texture seemed like it came from a packaged chips. Service was ok, prompt. I will not go back to this place.
En terrasse, une bière en été. On demande une grande bière car il fait chaud. Un litre servi au lieu d'une pinte. 18.40e. Refus du serveur de passer sur la pinte. J'ai l'impression d'avoir été escroqué. Photo du ticket pour preuve.
