I came here on a Friday afternoon with working mate for lunch and ordered the makkaroni and cheese with bacon.
Other ordered burger and another ordered chili that came with a big tortilla from any reason, would have made it more sense to come with tortilla chips. we were in and ordered shortly before the lunch break, but many people who came after us were served faster. the personal joked about a lot and didn't seem to pay, but waited half an hour for macaroni cheese seemed a little silly.
Eating was all good, but I would probably go back only not to a time when I would wish my food faster.
I was here a few weeks back and we order a fish and chips, a garlic crispy chicken and a classic bark burger. it wasn't on par. I was very cautious to try again here, but I'm glad I did yesterday, because after work they can't beat a bit of pub duck. after yesterday's re-trial, I am happy to be here again after work. what an enormous improvement in the kitchen and I will bring the office back very soon.
It is the most authentic Chinese restaurant I know very similar to what I have learned to love in Hong Kong and China. After the NEC Springfair show we have been with business friends for the Original Aromatic Beijing Duck and the Shredded Beijing Duck with pancakes for 15 years. Delicious! Unfortunately, they ran out of all ducks and grilled pork after the Chinese New Year celebration. No duck no pig! So we had to preorder for the next day and show up twice, double sales! Also really delicious is the different selection of dim sum. This restaurant is the most important reason to go in beautiful Birmingham more exciting than visiting the spring and autumn fair...
As well as the delicious food and excellent selection of drinks, the team here are such a lovely, welcoming bunch of people. Nothing is too much trouble, you're always acknowledged at the bar and the staff make an effort to speak to children making them...feel welcome too.
