We visited with of us in total. We arrived and were served our food shortly after. Food arrived piping hot, featuring generous portions and bottomless gravy! Dessert was served after and they even accommodated a decent wait in between courses as we were stuffed!...Service was excellent, beer was lovely. We will be back again I'm certain
This is a great american itailian diner restaurant. The food is more oftern then not good and is reasonably priced its not an more expensive then the other restaurnts that are available at centretainment. the portion size is great and don't feel short changed for the money. They a proper bar and can offer most drinks of your choice as long as they haven't run out which makes it a bit better then some which can only offer a limited menu. The restaurant is clean and well staffed where they are friendly but not over the top friendly. The only issue is going at the weekends as there can be a wait unless you book in advance, this is when the bar comes in handy while you wait
Shocking Experience. It's a shame I have to write this but I have just got home and Fuming with the Prince Of Wales.
As soon as this place got refurbished I have supported the place, went on the opening Parties, spent a fortune in there on New Years Eve and accepted that the mess up with our order it happens But to take friends from down south there tonight for a quick bite placed near the Chef and NO ONE else around. <br br For the MANAGER to ask us to control our friends year old that was crying was OUT OF ORDER. we were talking with the child bringing her back to the table and being TOLD rudely that the reason is for other diners comfort is atrocious.
No-one else was around us AND it was not very busy which is why we ate earlier to not be here at main times and we were eating from the full price main menu.
To then send the waitress over to apologise for the incident and not have the decency to come over herself was SPINELESS, and the offer to give me a complimentary CHILDS scoops of ice cream was taking the Michael. Its a shame as I had been in there days previous with other friends and being around the corner I will no longer be going in and spending a time.
I will also be spreading the word, avoid this place and try MORANS/Marco Milano/The York Broomhill, anywhere else, POW does not deserve the custom.
great place. fantastic for vegetarian and vegan. last and last the options! I had a Buddha-shot, caffeine-free icestee and brownies to take away. all were delicious. has internal and external seats. they also have a small business where they can buy their tees and other beautiful things. would be great for Christmas shopping, I have some birthday gifts. a lot of the menu was tee inspired and her tea cocktails looked amazing! I think they also have live music in some evenings, but I went during the day. in any case recommend.
