The White Hart - Reservar uma mesa

This is a building with plenty of oak beams inside such a lovely atmosphere. We had a lovely welcome from the front of house hostess. The lunchtime menu was simple and economically priced considering what we had. I chose cottage pie with fresh...vegetables. The vegetables were peas, greens cabbage, mashed swede and cauliflower. It was a good old fashioned British dinner'. Everything was full of flavour and well presented. At for the ample portion, we will certainly be back. There was no charge for the extra portion of gravy. This lovely pub does B&B at a very reasonable price, too.

We have been coming here once a year for a while now, the roast dinners are great fairly priced and plenty-full good seating arrangements. Whilst i like the food for the most part the service is good but at times some staff and what i...believe to be the landlady can be quite abrupt if not rude at times, seems like if you have special needs we needed a highchair and extra gravy) with your dinner it seems a problem for them, but as said the food is great and i will return.Maybe its just a quirky pub with quirky staff.

I stopped here back in February for a relaxing lunch after some mock exams. It wasn't a bad place food was ok. Had the sirloin steak and chips. However I did get given the evils by one of the barladies, a young/middle-aged-young woman with...brown hair in a tight bun, for asking to buy another drink while was on her phone. So a bit of a let down on that front.

It looks like a traditional pub and does the job. We came here quite late after a meal, there was a band on (not great, but bearable), service was quick, and managed to get a seat easily enough. Nothing out of the ordinary here, but...I would drop back in if I find myself drinking in thatcham again.

Staff so rude don't like dogs unless your face fits so filthy dirty in toilets window in toilets been broke for mouths not children friendly at all and been treated better by the tramps outside than the staff horrible place
