Sog SociÉtÉ Olivier Glousieau

My family and I went to eat in this restaurant a few days ago. We ordered soups, and pasta, as a first dish, and then meat as a second dish. Well, they took 45 minutes to serve pasta to my son! I never had such a TERRIBLE service in my life! And the waiter, every time I would ask when my son would be served, he would either rush away saying 'one minute', or would reply sarcastically 'soon'.... He even dared to shove up on my face a glass of beer telling me 'this is to excuse me for the wait'. Beer which I did bot touch! At the end of the meal, the bill was high, certainly too high for the low quality of the service and the food. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, one of the waiters said 'but in Venice I paid 26 euros of a cappuccino!'. So, I guess my family and I paid for that Cappuccino in Venice.......

Das Kürzel SOG des gleichnamigen Bistrorestaurants steht für Société Olivier Glousieau. Der gebürtige Franzose und sein Team servieren in Salzburg französische Küche sowie Pizza und Salate in einem modernen Ambiente. Auf der Karte stehen Flammkuchen-Variationen, Fisch- und Fleischgerichte (teils bio) sowie Vegetarisches. Auch Events finden im SOG, beziehungsweise in dessen Kellerbar, statt. Hier werden neben Flammkuchen und Bouillabaisse auch Cocktails und viele weitere Drinks angeboten. Mit wenigen Ausnahmen äußern sich aktuell User auf Google und Facebook positiv bis enthusiastisch über ihr Essen oder ihren Bar-Aufenthalt im SOG. Der Service wird meist als sehr freundlich beschrieben. In der Zusammenfassung halten wir 4,5 Sterne für das Restaurant-Bistro SOG für angemessen.

This is a nice local restaurant, conveniently located near Pension Katrin in Salzburg. The food was mostly Italian dishes and they had great flatbread pizza and a wonderful Caprese salad, wines by the bottle or glass, and beer on tap. Very reasonably priced.

We enjoyed the Italian food at this restaurant - spaghetti, pizza and great fresh salads, as well as draft beer and wine by the glass. Conveniently located if staying at the Pension Katrin.

This was an excellent wee restaurant for a family meal on a rainy Saturday night. Kids ate pizza, the wine was reasonable and the dessert was very good.
