Schuetzenmatt - Reservar uma mesa

We were there on the Swiss national holiday and Altdorf was a big party. Stalls with eating and stands with goods all through the city center and according masses of people. Looking for a beverage, we found the beergarden of the Schutzenmatt, woderfully shadowed by an old chestnut. It was nice and silent, phantastic for sitting and talking. The interieur of the restaurant maybe is a little bit outdated, but the beergarden is a wonderful place at a warm, sunny day ! Next time again...

This is a great place to enjoy a beer and some good food. Service was top notch. The beer menu was unusually extensive for this area. The food was good with several Swiss cuisine offerings.

We eat at this restaurant whenever we stop in Altdorf after a hiking day. The food was always good and fresh, the service friendly and the garden very relaxing.

Good food, good service, lovely terrace to enjoy a good meal during the current heatwave. Right in the heart of town, next to the local theatre.

They have good food and the service is also good. In addition, the place is nice and well-located. Recommended for a quiet dinner.
