Schloss Helmsdorf Ohg

We stayed in June at the campsite Schloss Helmsdorf for a week. The place is very well maintained and neat, however, the rear places are easily placed in a hillside, best wooden blocks or similar to be able to balance the WoWa, or with what you are on the go. Direct access to Lake Constance with bathing place and lawn due to the stones in Lake Constance is recommended to carry bathing shoes. Sanitary facilities are modern and cleaned several times a day (although some guests have not seen it). There are free dishwashers which we liked very much. There is also a small kiosk and a restaurant right on the square. The kiosk has been a bit expensive for our taste, but you don't have to buy anything there. The restaurant is really great, but you should reserve in advance as this restaurant is very well visited. Shower costs 0.50€ for good 3 minutes (this has not really disturbed us personally now). If you look at the place before on the map you can see that this place is located close to the road. So everyone should be aware that you can hear the road. We felt the noise of the road was very low. The staff were also extremely friendly. It may well happen that lawns are mowed and hedges are cut when a place becomes free. In our view, however, this serves as a place for care and not to annoy visitors/campers. Conclusion: We definitely come back and recommend the campsite.

We arrived a little earlier and the first telephone contact to ask if we could already move into the place was super friendly and we were warmly welcomed! The standard pitch booked was very spacious, but also very sloping, which made setting up and aligning the caravan a challenge. But we received a lot of support! The site has a modern, spacious wash house with good facilities. Everything is cleaned daily and is super clean! Only a shelf for shampoo and shower gel in the shower stalls would have been helpful. The dishwashers and the washing machine and dryer could be used free of charge and were a great service! We'd love to come back!

We were a couple with a dog on the campsite, had a comfort pitch (really large) with water, sewage and electricity. Top location directly on Lake Constance with private, free beach access. Sanitary very good and sufficient, not quite understandable why showers cost extra, scullery in the morning and in the evening usually means queuing, but there is a free dishwasher. Unfortunately there are only 6 comfort pitches which are all sunny, wasn't that great with a dog. There are also normal pitches in the shade. Quiet, very clean. Restaurant on site. Place but only with reservation. Small supermarket. We will only come back to another pitch.

Very nice campsite Were there for 14 days, showers, toilet and sink always clean. Shower brands took some getting used to, but you get used to everything. Good shopping possibilities. Immenstaad is easy to reach on foot. We had a great holiday, only the weather didn't play along, but the campsite can't do anything about that. Location: 4

On our bike tour around Lake Constance we came by chance past the restaurant. Nice staff, great advice and really very, very good food (small onion roast is definitely worth the money! and a beautiful view of the lake. Even though it is difficult to find on a campsite, it is worth it all! Service: 5
