"On Fronleichnamstag our annual tour with a ship of Lake Constance was due. This time she led us to Immenstaad in the best weather from our resort Nonnenhorn over Kressbronn, Langenargen and Friedrichshafen. While our ship took a good ride and we reached Immenstaad after 95 minutes, the best weather this day was absolutely not for the many sailors; not the smallest fans who could blow their sails. In Immenstaad we had three hours of stay before we went back to Nonnenhorn. Before we even tried a bit on foot to explore the small Lake Constance (we do not succeed) we first threw anchor in the restaurant in Häfele . As already GG-Kollege Minitar in his review, I also tend to interpret Häfele as a reduction/reduction of port, which is also obvious, because from the very beautiful terrace of the Häfele right next to the small port of the yacht club Immenstaad you have a great view of the happening. Speaking of events: The future skippers and skippers are no longer allowed to be properly transported in the sailing schools, as their floating base reaches and is fixed there or picked up from one place to another. During our stay we saw scenes that would have appreciated any comedy and the harbour master can certify a very healthy nerve costume; unlike some crews, he was always master of the situation. Ambience: Beautiful premises, very pleasant and suitable; I can't say if the restaurant is a tenant of the yacht club or the yacht club in the gastronomy. There is also plenty of space in there, which is probably needed from time to time, as visitors who come by ship to Immenstaad will find the Häfele as the first gastro operation after the long comb. Cleanliness: I don't want to calculate how many guests come here daily in the season, but there are certainly many. The higher it is estimated that everything is really picobello in shot and clean. During the first visit my wife had a table water (0.3l for EUR 2.20), for food she ordered a curry sausage with Pommes Frites (EUR 8.50). I wasn't in food, nor to give water. I ordered a large export beer; the name of the brewery is no longer present to me, it could have been from Farny and cost 0.5l EUR 3.30. The curry sausage was really huge and tasted my wife excellent, just like the curry sauce and the very crispy pommes frites. During the second visit she ordered her table water and a piece of cake (EUR 3,10). I ordered a voucher Africa (EUR 7.90). The cake was good, the coup was Africa too; the name was probably the high proportion of banana slices, while the ice and other fruits have nothing to do with Africa like the cream (here unfortunately spray cream). In October we find ourselves looking for a restaurant in Immenstaad on Lake Constance: The streets are abandoned, many doors closed or the menu is repulsive. But there is a light on the main road and people. In fact, the Il Centro, an Italian. It's well visited. We enter: warmth, cafe, pasta, barbecue and roasted flavors. The senses tremble an oasis of good life. But is there another place? Quickly asked, short answer, quick decision and the last free table for two people is colonized. The service is almost at the same time: Prosecco, water and beer come quickly to our table. The menu runs through, targeted, the stomach signals urgency, but push between, erase thirst, rinse dams, decide. Zerberuz prefers a pizza with a number of special wishes, I choose the rccolasalate with tomatoes and parmesan and the grilled Calamaris with pasta. And after the first thirst has been extinguished, the tongue wishes red wine. We first order 0.1 of the special wine offer to try a barolo. The Ruccolasalat surprises with its appearance. It is unusually scattered and covered with really big parmesan slices. He looks at me like a curious pancake. But the unusual appearance does not listen to the taste! The Ruccola has a strong, decadent modern sharp autumn accent and reminds me of the taste of the Mourvedret grape. Tomatoes and dressing work with acidity, freshness and covered sweetness on the other side and coalize with the parmesan, so that the flavor balance tends almost to the sweet harmonic side, but only almost! The Ruccola cannot take its wild character. Good luck! Those who unfortunately give a weak idea in this part of the food are the Barolo. He fails not only at the taste peaks of the Ruccola, but he comes as a whole more smiling and pale over the tongue and, despite the recommendation of the boss, gives the impression that he had spent the rest in the opened bottle. After this appetizer a touch of comfort spreads in the body. The requirements of the stomach become more moderate, the first desire is still. At the attentive waiter we first order a wine change. Instead of Barolo now Montepulciano. Short sample. Yes, it has substance, volume and palate variability. The person is happy, especially when pasta and grilled Calamari are served: mhhhhhhhh! Pepperoni and garlic fragrance, winged by aromas of olive oil, that all wraps around the pleasure-oriented sensory of soul and mouth. The tongue demands direct contact. The spaghetti slept around the fork, Jaa, they sound and broke with a magnificent sharpness. And now the Calamari. Oh, another sample yes, they're good, but not very good. They lack excellent spices. Although they impress with their mass, because the proportion is more than abundant, this amount of appropriate culinary quality is lacking. So no dialectic on the record. Finally an espresso!
