Restaurante Pasión Peruana

This lovely restaurant was a tad difficult to find, but then again, we walked from our airbnb spot in La Candelaria neighborhood... but so glad we found it, and enjoyed an amazing Peruvian lunch after the long walk. Our waiter was Peruvian, and had spent...time in New Jersey so we had a mix of Spanish and English as he took us patiently through the enticing menu it was hard to decide! We ended up with Chupe Camarones (a seafood soup), Papas Huancayna and a mixed seafood plate. Totally delicious all of them. (See the photos to get just a small idea of how carefully the chef prepared the dishes There's a bunch of Peruvian restaurants along this same stretch of street, all post-Pasion Peruana...so head to the original, and the best. You will not be disappointed.

I went there with my boyfriend and some friends and we were very impressed with the excellent service. Its waiters were very attentive and timely. The decoration of the place is fancy and pretty colorful, which I personally liked. The music and the ambiance were...really nice. Food wise, all of us were pretty satisfied with flavors and recommendations made by the waiter. The appetizers that had shrimp in were really big for sharing, flavorful, and well presented. Their potatoes a la huancaina were really good too. All in all, it's an upper class restaurant and you pay a lot (for Colombian standards), but you have a good amount of food and presentation for what you pay.

We chanced upon this little charming place in La Macarena district of Bogota and loved it. The place was quiet and the service was very attentive with an English speaking waiter which always helps decide what to order. Our fish was excellent and so was...the tres leeches dessert. The waiter also invited us to taste different Peruvian peppers. A nice introduction to a very different world of peppers with a distinctive taste. At the end of the meal, they called a taxis for us which is recommended wherever you go in Colombia.

Probably the best Peruvian restaurant in Bogota. Enjoyed it very much. The lomo saltado, causas and chaufa were amazing. My other favorite Peruvian is La Mar in Usaquen, also recommend it.

There is nothing worst than grabbing a cab going across the city just to get to place that it's closed..Sunday was closed. Please update your working hours
