Raj - Reservar uma mesa

Very odd place . Very dated interior so thought it must be good food to have lasted this long in business with this decor . Unfortunately I was wrong . From the 15 minute wait to be asked for a drinks order to the barman pouring cobra then topping it up with kingfisher and still serving it flat . The dirty menus and sticky tables then the 1 hour wait for cool watery curries ! This really was a terrible experience . Venue , service , beer and food quality was totally substandard. When told our views the manager said ‘ that’s our food ‘ and walked off . Later to return to offer a 15% discount . Then even trying to pay to an age . I’d give it a miss if I was you

I absolutely love this restaurant. It was the second time I've been and my date was equally impressed. Customer service is outstanding. They are always adding extras for you and the whole staff are open and welcoming. Food is amazing and always generous portions at good prices. Can't recommend them enough. Will definitely be going back. Going to drink in the many bars and pubs along king street especially when it's sunny but if you like Indian food or even want to try some you should go to The raj to eat.

The Raj of King Street is easily the best Indian restaurant in Bristol. I've been here with family, friends, and my partner and the food service are always exceptional. The vegan menu is incredible and the staff are so helpful and attentive. Rumel in particular always looks after us and makes every meal there special! Cannot recommend this place enough, especially for vegan food lovers!

Another beautiful, quality meal at The Raj. It's been our favourite since our first date 19 years ago! Great service, lovely, relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food great value for money. The team, including the new waiter were attentive but not pushy. Thank you for a brilliant evening! :

First time we’ve been here, convenient to both the Old Vic and tiger Hilton. Traditional style and menu, very hospitable and busy even midweek. Chicken Tikka Dansak especially good. Recommended. Will come back.
