Pizzeria San Remo

A sunny late afternoon and a hungry stomach don't go well together so I decided to had for some food and came across this place in Borken. Actually my itention wasn't for Italiana but when I passed the tables in the sun, I just stopped and decided whatever, I am not going anywhere else.Now when the menu arrived, it was obvious the standard Italian range, Pizze e Pasti... but then I saw the daily menu and spotted the pasta with porcini, filet of beef and Parmesan and had my decision set. When the dish arrived I was surprised by its size and immediatly dug into it. A perfect balance between pasta and sugo with the mushrooms, beef and parmesan giving a nice composition - delicious and filling at the same time.Nevertheless I still had a little bit of room and some appetite left so I decided for the roasted Sabayone with fresh strawberries. Again, very delicious but either the cook didn't pay enough attention or the Sabayone didn't take the roasting/strawberries too well, there was some liquid mixture still at the bottom.As I said it was delicious but this just scraped enough off the rating that the whole meal got 4 stars.Main course 4.5, service 4.5, location 4.5 but then the dessert wasn't 5 for sure so it's a 4, sorry.

Um final de tarde ensolarado e um estômago faminto não combinam, então decidi comer um pouco e me deparei com este lugar em Borken. Na verdade a minha menção não era para a Italiana, mas quando passei pelas mesas ao sol, simplesmente parei ... e decidi tanto faz, não vou a mais lado nenhum. Agora quando o cardápio chegou, era óbvio o padrão italiano, Pizze e Pasti ... mas aí eu vi o cardápio do dia e vi o macarrão com porcini, filé de boi e parmesão e tive minha decisão definida. Quando o prato chegou, fiquei surpreso com seu tamanho e imediatamente cavei nele. Um equilíbrio perfeito entre a massa e o sugo com os cogumelos, a carne bovina e o parmesão dando uma bela composição deliciosa e recheada ao mesmo tempo. Mesmo assim, ainda tinha um pouco de espaço e um pouco de apetite, então decidi pelo Sabayone assado com morangos frescos. De novo, muito gostoso, mas ou o cozinheiro não prestou atenção ou o Sabayone não aceitou muito bem as amoras assadas, ainda havia um pouco da mistura líquida no fundo. Como eu disse, estava delicioso, mas isso raspou o suficiente da classificação para que toda a refeição recebesse estrelas. Local de serviço do prato principal, mas a sobremesa não era certa, então é uma pena

When the court arrived, I was surprised by his greatness and dragged me in immediately. a perfect balance between pasta and sugo with the mushrooms, bark and parmesan give a beautiful composition delicious and at the same time fill. I still had a little bit of space and an appetit remained, so I decided for the roasted sabayone with fresh strawberries. also here, very tasty, but either the cook did not pay enough attention or the sabayone did not take too well the fryinges/grabbles, there were still some liquid mix on the floor. as I said it was delicious, but that just has enough of the evaluation that the whole meal will get stars. main course service location, but then the dessert was not safe, so it is a bad one.

Just walking around the town we came upon this restaurant, which was able to seat us on a Friday evening. Had a really lovely and relaxed meal with my wife and son. Attentive and friendly waitstaff, good wine selection by the glass, and very well executed food!
