O Chato Vire - Reservar uma mesa

I had read the Trip Advisor reviews before going into this nicely busy place, in a perfect position near car parks In town centre, with 2 very young grandchildren- plus large buggy. Although full of locals, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, making extra room for the buggy, and sitting us all in a good corner at the back. Food was really delicious - great boef flamande and layered potatoes, with a good specials board. I wish I could have managed one of their superb looking deserts. Was functional in appearance, but great atmosphere and star quality all round. Merci beaucoup!

Have walked past this bar/bistro many times without giving it a thought. On finally crossing the threshold found it to be clean, friendly and unpretentious place which served an excellent 'menu de jour'lunch at a very reasonable price. We'll go again!

A very tasty table d'hote four course lunch with wine and coffee at a sensible price which was served without fuss and in a room filled with local clientele. A sure sign of a successful enterprise. Just what we needed!

The benefit of this little cafe is it is central and usually open when other places aren't. Friendly staff and homemade fresh food.
