Lilium

I'm still throwing every single dish I had at dinner last night. I chose the tasting menu and it is really, in my opinion, the only way to have the best experience. The tuna was so fresh and buttery, it melted immediately when it was. The star for me was the “Codero” the lamb. It was roasted to perfection, tender and with the fat part of the lamb. The engraving was sweet and was balanced with the cream of potatoes. If you're not a fan or lamb, I wouldn't skip this record yet because it wasn't "game y" as lamb tends to be. The plaza in desire that it is located is very lively, but Lilium seems "the strange one", as it seems more area for sports bars and nightclubs. That is, it did not take away from experience, it added context to culture and the marina was a beautiful environment. I can't wait to tell my friends about this place. The service was both impeccable and attentive. Chef Orlando came and greeted everyone and it was nice to thank him for a perfectly curated meal and experience. One thing I probably wouldn't have again is the “Sama” or a seabow. I love white fish, but maybe it was too different than what I used to have. It was similar to a Bacalo, tasteful, fleshy and lean.

Brilliant food, beautifully presented on odd plates and bowls. An unusual combination of ingredients but with a great finish. I had the pork/pig as a main and it was amazing; I usually never order pork/pig at restaurant because i am always afriad it will be too dry but the was PERFECT (I wanted more). We hadn't booked but managed to get there just after they opened and got a table. Not a large restaurant, small and cosy, located in the harbour, perfect fora romantic dinner. The staff was very friendly when greeting us and throughout our dinner, even walked us to the door to say goodbye.

We chose this restaurant for our last night on the island and were not disappointed. It is a good choice if you want to taste the typical dishes from the region, with an elaborate twist. The service is impeccable, we haven't waited. We each had 1 starter-1 main-1 dessert and a wine glass and there were only 45€ per person. Definitely recommended. We didn't try the menu degustación, but if I go back, I would choose how to expect something exactly as tasteful.

We had a good lunch here. Lilium is a charming local restaurant that celebrates food and wine from Lanzarote. It should be enjoyed in this context - the connection that has its food to the region - instead of merely serving as a comparison with other fine cuisine. We went for the delicious tasting menu, with local wine, which was also top notch. We have found the service to be friendly and attentive, and we will definitely see you next time!

One of the best places in Lanzarote to have a fine dinner. Local food and nice stuff. A ' must ' visit the island.
