Les Arcades - Reservar uma mesa

Turned up late on a Saturday night and spotted a table in Les Arcades. After initially thinking it looks touristy, we were proved wrong as almost all the customers were french and it was very popular. There was a good variety of specials, meat and seafood with main meal prices ranging from 14€-19€. The staff were very pleasant and spoke to us in French which made the whole experience more authentic. The open kitchen was also a nice touch and the location was beautiful with other restaurants in close proximity in the cute square - would recommend!

This restaurant is located right in the heart of the Thursday market ... and does not offer a reservation mechanism on that very day! So, if you get lucky, you get a table, you can wait, wait, wait ... because there is no line per say. The terrace is nice (even on a sunny hot day, the wind and shadow keep the temperature at a pleasant level) and the food is tasty. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other places with similar features within walking distance. Even though we had a good lunch, we would not go back to Nyons just for that restaurant.

The pizza was not good. The bottom was hard and difficult to cut. The salad was great, though.. Great surroundings with the isolated square, good for kids.. Very friendly staff. Prices not cheap.

The food is good, but not extraordinary. Service is friendly, but as it is a busy place, it can be a bit distracted. The location in Nyons is very nice and all in all is well worth a visit.

We took our morning coffee there each day, had lunch one and dinner twice; we were never well than well pleased.
