We liked this restaurant so much when we had lunch,me came back for dinner the next week. It's a small dining room and I only saw two employees. A wife and husband team, mother wife is a well known chef and the husband runs the front of the house. They were both very charming. The food was excellent. Especially after very heavily sauced dishes in other restaurants in Alsace, including Michelin starred ones, this was refreshingly pure cooking. Don't get me wrong, the terrine de foie gras was the best we had and it's a classic. But each dish really tasted of the fresh vegetables and meat or fish in it. Will definitely return.

First what we disliked-absolutely nothing. What we liked-everything. The decor, ambience, the service but above all the food! The menu is not long, but is imaginative and interesting. The 3 of us all had different dishes for each course and loved them all. They recommended the wine-suggesting one I would not have chosen. It was so good we took the label so we could find it again. My only regret with this restaurant is that it isn't closer to home. BOOK as it's tiny but perfectly formed.

We enjoyed a 5 course chef's choice meal and wine pairing. There was also a small menu to choose from for other selections. Chef Sylvie and her husband, Gilles, were very friendly and gracious. Everything was creative and fresh. We had beet gazpacho, fois gras, fish cabillar, duck with artichoke puree and syrupy apricots with ice cream for dessert. It was a lovely, relaxing evening. Make sure you make a reservation. It is a very small place and they usually can't accommodate walk-ins.

We met with 8 friends around a nice table in this tiny nice restaurant. The chef is Sylvie and her husband takes care of the dining room, and took us through the specialties of his chef-wife!! And gave great tips on local wine. I particularly love the Skrei (cod fish) and the snails!
