"Absolutely charming, buildings and people and a magnificent pool and gardens. Dinner tried too hard, foams etc. some kitchen bourgeois would be better. And with montaigne d'alaric, beer d'alaric and aurore d'alaric it was a surprise ego journey for me."

On the plus side the gardens and staff are lovely, very comfortable mattress and bedding. Great to have a heated pool and hot sauna en site. Breakfast so so. Sound proofing is abysmal, it’s like your neighbours are actually in your room. Dinner nice but much more expensive than we paid for nicer meals elsewhere. Spa is tired and a bit mouldy plus E15 extra on top of accommodation.
We had a wonderful stay at Chateau de Floure. It's a very beautiful place. The owner met us personally and showed us in our room. It was nicely furnished with a large balcony. The bed was enormous with beautiful linens and extremely comfortable. The best nights sleep until now from our trip. They arrange a massage for me only and hours that were perfect. Dinner was exquisite.
Very nice location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities. This was our second visit to the hotel and we loved it just like the first time. Karine and her staff at the reception are very attentive and attentive to your needs. We received a selection of rooms and chose the “Turm” room that had a 360-degree panoramic view from its windows and no neighbor!
We stopped here on the way between Nice and Bordeaux. We were very happy to find this well maintained property with magnificent gardens and historic buildings. To our surprise and joy, the castle also offers the best table in the city. The staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Recommended
