Le Morgon - Reservar uma mesa

Discovery of the heart that closes a weekend in Beaujolais. A bistro that combines charm at several levels, both by its location in the heart of the pretty hamlet of Morgon, as by its decoration and its sober and pleasant design, but also by the skill, kindness, dedication and good mood of the young people who welcomed us, combining elegance, all in harmony dress with the place, with a smiling conviviality. This Sunday was offered a meal in the culinary tradition of the Mâchon de Lyon, the surprise (who aspires to stay) that resides in the revision of the concept in a modernized version, delivered in the air of time. We had the pleasure of enjoying a salad of cervelas lentils, boiled eggs with truffle oil, the traditional tray of charcuterie, the Lyon cuisine sausage and steam cooked potatoes, the non-contournable collar of canuts (perfectly seasoned) and a delicious dessert, accompanied by a glass of Morgon. A place to recommend to any amateur regional cuisine! The Bistrot is associated with a cocktail bar upstairs that I hope to discover, as well as the rest of the map, on the occasion of a next visit. Bravo to the Guignier family for the passion that inspires them and impresses their charming team!

The place is nice, the staff is always smiling. The cocktail (the pink dream) was delicious, very precisely golden. The toast was very well done and very good. A small dessert dish (glazed to the great marnier) that would have deserved to be out of the freezer a few minutes before the service, because if frozen that cup has escaped me from the more expensive recovery and the spoon had to pass through. This experience is not the most appreciable when we are in a group I would recommend panacota.

Bistrot with care and taste. Smiling and warm, the team is very careful. Cocktail varied and tasteful, bravo au bartender ! Map with a wide choice. The fries are very good but deserve to be a little less fat! Right. Too bad the upper room is not air-conditioned. Complex access for people with reduced mobility by stairs that are nevertheless wide.

Fresh products and home dessert. We ate very well.. the choice of dorade because great weekend but on its bowl of pears c was delicious I liked cheesecake.

Beautiful discovery in the Beaujolais. Map reduced in the evening but the tapas are good. Very good cocktails. Warm and beautiful restaurant decoration.
