Le Mirador Resort and Spa

As so many people state in the reviews, you come for the incredible view from their big terrasse. But the service is really not good.We went there mid afternoon on Good Friday, the terrasse was quite full, several waiters walked past us saying "hello" but not stoping. Finally, the first server who took the time to really welcome us only did it to tell us this part of the terrasse was closed as lunch had only just finished, and we needed to wait. (there was no "Welcome, how can I help, may we sit you here whilst we prepare this part of the terrasse...").Contrary to what others have said, I do not think that the place is understaffed, I think the overcharge and don't need all the customers... We ended up walking back to "L'aigle gourmand" which has the same view, a very similar terrasse and much more friendly staff.

Came for a relaxing Sunday afternoon, and spent a couple of hours in their cafe/bar. The service was excellent; waiter was very friendly, professional and courteous. The cafe offers amazing views of lake Geneva and the mountains, one of the best views you can get. The hotel in general is beautiful, peaceful and luxurious. Looking forward to staying there next time I'm in Switzerland.

Menu was good, not too large or complicated to understand, the wine list is just amazing! Staff was helping understanding the menu and offers local cuisine with local ingredient and dishes. I took the Papet Vaudois, which is usually a brasserie type of meal reviewed by them, absolutely stunning!

For a stay very nice. Don't go and eat there. The chef cooks like a beginner and it's to expensive for the quality you get - really!!!! The staff are very nice and the view....

Entrecote was great! which is not always a case. service really nice and fast. I recommend to have a meal in this restaurant.
