La Nouvelle Citadelle

Hard to find vegan options in Provence, so it was great that this place has not only a vegan burger, but also incredible views of both the citadels of this beautiful city. I did not try the vegan salad that was listed as “Entree”, but the vegan burger was considerable and came with fries and some greens on the side. The burger seemed to be mainly potato base, a “Galette” Patty plus another Patty that had some mixed vegetables. I also enjoyed a delicious Belgian beer to accompany the meal and the incredible views. Updated by previous review on 2022-07-23

The map is simple, we took burgers, they are very classic but good! Steak is good and cooking is respected. The service is fast enough, and the servers are smiling and pleasant. On the other hand, we did not find it very professional that the boss (we imagine) speaks badly to the young servers in front of the customers!

I stayed only one night. Hotel located in a beautiful spot. My room overlooks the river and has a beautiful view. The elevator is tiny. The bathroom is French and does not have the hairdryer but the shower is optimal. It does not have air conditioning, while there is WiFi and TV.

We did not sleep on site but we tested the restaurant and found the ratio of quality correct price, especially when taking into account the frame and the view. Managers are welcoming and employees at the top. Thank you!

Took a lunch in the restaurant. Had very good tartare. Fast service. Served with ingredients separately so that you can choose your own mix. Great views
