La Curva - Reservar uma mesa

Not far from the wonderful beach at Nerga this small restaurant offers both indoor (quite smart eating area) outdoor dining (2 terraces)-a step up from a beach bar. They don’t speak English but this was no major problem as with both my trusty dictionary and a very helpful waiter we managed to decipher the small hand written menu. There is a big emphasis on fish so firstly we chose 2 starters to share; Razor clams and clams. Generous portions of each simply cooked with crusty bread to mop up the juices. I then had the local fish of the day-unsure of the type but it was very good; a large fish, it came with some very tasty earthy potatoes. Our other main was a veal steak perfectly cooked served with chips. We shared a large mixed salad. 2 glasses of local white wine (very palatable) a large bottle of water completed our dinner. For €60 we thought that it was good value for the type of food. A great little place.

Do not expact someting fancy and do enjoy the perfectly cooked homemade food and enjoy the nice view to the bay. We have been there yesterday and we decided to stay a day longer in town to have dinner at „La Curva“ today again. And by the way... in Season they are also Open on wednesdays

Dreadful paella. I am sure it was frozen as squid was like rubber to eat. Service was slow. The bread basket was so late in coming. We had nearly finished eating by the time the bread was served.

We were a party of 11, including 3 kids. We had two of the seafood rice dishes which were so good we went back a couple of days later and bought more but this time for takeaway.

The meal was excellent the Luritas ria delicious. Friendly waitress. Lovely reasonably priced Albariño wine. Oh and a superb view over the bay as the sun went down.
