Habitus - Reservar uma mesa

We went to have lunch their today. The food there has nothing to do with Mediterranean as it stated in the menu. It was a total disaster and very expensive for that quality. The owner spent so much money on decor should have spent money to hire a decent chef. Out of one starter and two meals nothing was descent and eatable, not talking that really overpriced .Gambas carpaccio absolutely tasteless was served with the Russian salad… who can up with such idea? Beef tartar was served with all ingredients separate on the plate and you should mix it yourself, missing egg yolk. Another disaster. Sole was over fried and tasted like a shoe sole served with very salty sauce. Long story short it was a real waste of time and money, and great disappointment. Would not recommend to anyone. The only positive point the wine was good. But this is not their merit. Most of Spanish wines are good. The service was not up to level it should be for that type of restaurant.

My Spanish friend and I wanted to try something special and this beautiful restaurant ticked all the boxes. Attentive waiters, wonderful atmosphere and fabulous fayre. I much prefer quality over quantity and was pleasantly rewarded here. I love the idea of the multilingual iPad menu were you can view the dishes on offer too. We chose dishes that we could share and all of them were delicious! Starters were shredded duck balls with caramelised apple purée and roasted artichokes with clams and pine nuts. For mains we chose the red curry prawns topped with crunchy fried onions with sweet potato and the scallops in cream sauce vol au vents. Everything was so delicious!! If there were to be any points taken off this score it would only be that the food was not very hot but everything else was perfect.

Looking for somewhere special to celebrate our wedding anniversary whilst in southern Costa Blanca, we found this absolute gem. Being early on a Monday night meant it was quiet but in no way did this distract from a wonderful evening. After being offered a complimentary Cava we looked over a terrific menu. The food we chose was gorgeous, with great portions, and the wine list was terrific. The staff were atttentive and friendly, even heping us celebrate with a fire candle! The prices were amazing for such quality and they even gave us vouchers to pay for the car park. To sum up, all I can say is that Restaurante Habitus is highly recommended if you're looking for fine dining and great value. We will be back!

The atmosphere was amazing and the food excellent. The staff also made us feel welcome and cosy. It was perfect way to spend our wedding day dinner.

Great restaurant with great atmosphere decor. The staff were excellent efficient. The food was delicious not expensive.
