My mom and I went for a late, Saturday breakfast. It was very busy, as per usual. We were lucky to get a table so quickly. My mom and I ordered bacon and eggs and the banana bread French toast to share. We like to share a sweet and a savoury dish. The bacon and eggs were good. I like the shredded hash browns and the eggs were cooked to our liking. We ordered crispy bacon and it could have been a bit more well done. The banana bread French toast is both decadent and delicious!! A good dish to share, as it is quite rich. The service was lacking. Yes, it was busy but our server didn't seem to be run off her feet. A refill on our coffee and a quality check would have been nice. We also had to track down our server to get the bill. Unfortunately this type of service has become quite typical. Otherwise, it was a great visit!
I feel that this place is overrated. Go to Sprout instead.The food is alway sloppily thrown together and on weekdays the ordering system in down right ridiculous.The food is either under seasoned or over seasoned. There does not seem to be happy medium. The menu is boring an lacks variety. The food does not always feel fresh. I have been at lest 5-6 times because of friends and family wanting to go. I avoid it if I can.
We met our niece who lives in Regina for a 9:30 breakfast and it started quite relaxed but got busy pretty quickly. It was its 7th anniversary. A nice variety on the menu and average price. My hubby had the buffalo bowl & enjoyed it. My niece and I added in the "add in of the day" which was a decadent grilled cinnamon bun - tasty but very sweet. Coffee was good and plentiful in a super size cup. We liked it
Visited before the Rider game last Sunday. Looking for a quick spot to eat brunch. Yes it was quick but very pricy for the amount of food you get. Service was ok but many staff just standing around. Put this place at the back of your list for future visits. Doesn't get my vote for a good breakfast stop.
