Ferret's Marten's

My partner and I thought we'd give Ferret's and Marten's a try based on previous reviews and by virtue of the fact that neither of us had eaten a cheese fondue for upwards of 30 years and thought it time to give it another try. The owner, Tommy, who acts as sole waiter to all of the restaurants tables both inside and outside, was a scream with a great sense of humour, his lady wife's food from the kitchen was a delight and the whole experience was most enjoyable. The restaurant's prices are extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit. Whilst we hadn't made a reservation, I suspect that making a reservation would be a sensible precaution.

The Porc medallions was really good after a long day hinking! The sauce especially good (a bit hot as it should be) and for who wants it even hotter, the extra souce and tegeguia (local) salt and served with some hot sauce was perfect.

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant, the gentleman who co owns with his Spanish partner is Swiss and the food was great. We went on a Sunday and there was a flautist and ukulele player and they sang as well!,

5 stars just not enough. Wonderful food and service and extra popcorn great place in a great location at the back of the church. Well done everyone. Brilliant.

Great atmosphere, lovely wine, nice beer. Very pleasant staff. Will report on food tomorrow when wee return.
