Denino's South Pizzeria

Pizza review only. I love Staten Island Pizza, so you can imagine how excited I was to try Denino 's, a Staten Island staple in NJ. We went to get a couple pies on Labor Day, '23. And what I received was two substandard pies. Top was overcooked to the point that the cheese had a crust on it. Bottom had so much semolina flour from the oven deck that you could flake it off with your hand. See picture, sorry the pie was sitting cause nobody ate it, but you can see how it was cooked. Nothing like the pictures of from other reviewers, so I 'm guessing they put in the 4th string cooks to stay open that holiday.
