Couleurs Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

3 adults and 2 children. We all had sirloin with shallots and the boys shared a bolognaise. The steak and fries were fine and the children ate all their food. The issue we had was with their silly drinks tab system. We had 2 glasses of wine and a beer and this was written on a piece of paper that was then left on our table. When I eventually got someone's attention to order a second beer the paper was taken away but no beer arrived. We then ordered more beer and wine and were basically accused of losing the piece of paper. Three different people searched our table and then all three asked us separately what drinks we'd had. I resent being treated like a petty thief and would never stoop to trying to get a free drink.

At half past two we ordered 2 coke before our lunch. We wait and wait en we ask for the menu. The waiter said we could ordered something before 2 o clock. We can get some lunch at the neightbours. That was very expensive so we dronk our coke and leave. Meanwhile we saw the owner from the restaurant residues from a coke put it on a new glass and give it to a another customer. Very unprofessional, my opinion. The toilets are very dirty, urine on the seat, sticky floor and the toilets smells nasty. The food from other customers looks fine, but the service from the restaurant was terrible.

Along the main road opposite the park one several options to eat and drink. Obviously very popular since each time we have walked by it has been very busy. However, food was definitely mediocre and nothing special. Service incredibly slow, which did not really matter, but if one is in a hurry, it might! Staff however were polity and helpful. Not a great choice, but they do have a menu du jour.

Couleurs is one of those unique French establishments with multi descriptions, which in this case combine cafe, brasserie, bar and glacier. Whereas a tutti frutti might have been tempting, beers had more of a pull so we sat outside and enjoyed a couple of pressions, which were fine as was the service.

Friendly and helpful staff, great food and nice atmosphere. will go again next time in town. The stake was perfect
