Bank Of Venice Public Hsegastro Pub

My, wife, daughter and I went to Bank of Venice for dinner. This place definitely has more of a bar feel than a restaurant. It is very loud with both music and the crowds making it difficult to hold a conversation. Two of the three of our meals were fine, but my wife's meatloaf was not. The food arrived cold and we returned it. When we got the meal back a few minutes later, the meatloaf had been reheated but the mashed potatoes were still cold. At this point we did not want the meal. The staff was very apologetic and took the meal off the bill and comped a couple of our drinks. Just manage expectations and realize that this is more of a bar than a restaurant.

I picked the restaurant (for my birthday) since it was close to home and the menu looked like it would satisfy both my vegetarian and carnivore friends at a reasonable price. The service, ambiance, and food were all fine but it was the noisiest restaurant I've ever been to. We were the only people at a table and there were a handful of people at the bar. Three televisions were blaring a sports event. They told me they couldn't turn it down. Absolutely too loud for any conversation. Headache inducing noise. And I'm not a picky person! I wanted so much to like the place, too.

We were pleasantly surprised... the food was so good. There were 5 of us and we each ordered something different all were delicious. Our service was mediocre and they did not know about our reservation at 11:30, they thought we were late and we weren't.

large selection of fresh organic options. wild truthahnburger with fresh avocado topped was fantastic! mac and cheese dish also a favorite. the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect for our long beach holiday in venice.

we were looking for a place at the venice beach when we stumbled here and we are very happy with the food and drink. it was a bit loud and no look at the water, but eating was very good.
