Auberge du Pont

When driving through France we always try and seek out nice places to eat and stay away from the ghastly, crowded and overpriced motorway joints. L'Auberge du Pont did not disappoint, so much so that we did wonder whether it had a Michelin star. All the ingredients are there: very pleasant contemporary surroundings (even though the artwork may not be to everyone's taste), efficient and friendly staff but most of all a chef who knows how to make the best of quality ingredients and also how to blend his Breton heritage with the local tradition of his adoptive region hundreds of miles away from the ocean. The mackerel starter was Instagram-worthy and delicious, as for the pork filet, it was simply the best I ever tasted, so tender and moist! If you can spare the time, go and experience it for yourself.

Reservation on the phone is accepted 24 hours in advance, the menu is changed every Sunday evening. You return to the entrance of the restaurant 1 people at a time to get back the menu brought you home, the barrier gestures are very well respected. The meal was very good. Long live the restaurant reopening that you can enjoy the setting, congratulations to you and your team for this 1st star.

on 13/08/2019 we had the excellent idea of celebrating our daughter's birthday in this restaurant: exceptional evening on the plates as well as the warm and friendly atmosphere. the chief imagination and the skills of his staff greatly contributed to the success of this evening. Thank you for everything.

in this restaurant everything seems perfect to me to start with the service that is orchestrated by a team with little care. The kitchen is divine especially the dishes that make up the menu at 68 euros. it is difficult for me to find something to blame for this restaurant so everything is impeccable.

An elegant and comfortable dining room joining a veranda leading to a fascinating water pond surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. Great service so we were expected a matching culinary experience, hence the disappointment.
