Auberge de la Foret

we have booked an extended weekend in the restaurant belonging chambres d’hotes chez marie. Of course, we enjoyed the dinner at the auberge de la foret.Super was the possibility to book the table for dinner already in advance online.The reception was very friendly and charming. the room very nice and tastefully decorated. everything very clean and perfectly furnished.In the restaurant we could eat outdoors thanks to the beautiful weather. both the flame-cakes, the meat dishes and the desserts ( among others strawberry cream brulee with erberrsorbet/Verveine very, very tasty) absolutely fantastic. the service very friendly, charming and humorous and very attentive. positiw are the hinds of service and chefin for the tages recommendations. The breakfast is very good and sufficient. we felt very comfortable in the chambre d’hotes chez marie and in the auberge de la foret . the family are extremely dedicated, friendly and charming hostess. we'll be back.

we were on the way through and the local looked very appealing from the outside. actually we wanted flammkuchen, but unfortunately there are only in the evening and at the weekend, so we have chosen the day dinner: sweet soup, spaghetti bolognese and a desspicably poor ritter. the suppe was okay, bad were the spaghetti. the noodles were boiled, the soda practically tasteless. the best were the poor ritter as dessert and the service! incredibly friendly and accommodating. that saved the day a bit.

Then don't hesitate for a second to get there. on February 07, 2017 I ate the meal of the day cold buffet and then fleichschnackas (typical alsatian meal). It was a treat, it had been a long time since I had no more food like that even if I do it myself., all with aperio, wine and coffee for 25 euros. only happiness. table spaced, welcome to the angels. everything is said you can go the eyes closed

I discovered this restaurant at a lunch with colleagues. Inside buffet, beef jumps and spaghetti with a good sauce and dessert with white chocolate mousse, cake and chocolate coulis. A treat. attentive and pleasant service. To renew!
