"Location Via the snakes you can reach the old town of Sulz am Neckar. Parking is free on the Neckar next to the city park. Here in the city centre and up to the church you will find the Blaue Grotte. With numerous flowers and herbal pots welcoming, we were confident that they will also be processed in Greek cuisine. Ambience A small beer garden between the herbs on the edge of the road leaves the southern atmosphere, but we were still underway when we enter the restaurant itself. For 60 years the Blaue Grotte has fascinated its visitors. The Blue Grotto has taken the small holiday Grotta Azzura from the island of Capri to Sulz. It was replicated with great attention to detail and cardboard net. A magnificent color play with the illuminated niches in the corners on the ceiling. There is a shameful ambience. Only the newly painted windows to the street provide daylight. On the tables table runners, blue candles and numerous bowls. Covered here with black spots is not glued here. The tables are partly too narrow, but who catches a place at the round table in the grotto has it wonderfully cozy. The toilets were freshly renovated and the walls got a white color, it smelled completely new. Service When entering, the staff and the family are eating before it started in the kitchen. The service took over a completely black-dressed power. Light linguistic difficulties led to misunderstandings. The incorrectly delivered drinks were withdrawn and exchanged without any condition. Otherwise everything worked quickly and smoothly. Food Most Greek specialities take the map, but also pizzas of any kind. Nevertheless, we remained faithful to the Greek courts. Calamari with butter rice and Tarama (9,90 €) was our first decision and second dish of Santorini with Souvlaki, Suzukia, Gyros, Tsatsiki, Pommes or rice and mixed salad (11,50 €). The Kalamari did not come out of the pan, as promised on the map, but were nice fried tulips and tastefully no hard thing. The butter had taken a race with rice, which was more difficult to say, but butter is never wrong. The meat of Santorini plate was nicely juicy and delicate. The Suzukia beautifully relaxed and refined with probably self-made herbs. The Gyros was not on the map with this court. I have something else on my plate. It was slightly crusty and well seasoned. The Pommes were too salty for me. The salad consisted of leaf salad, cucumber slices, some slices of tomatoes, also presumably from the garden and herbal salad with carrots, each with a light vinegar. Everything in a decent court. Conclusion: Blue Grotte Thesis: Where else?!!! This spell says everything. Exceptional atmosphere and good food in a place right at the Neckar."
