"As it was to be seen that our negotiations would go in the afternoon, we took a break at noon and looked for the “Hessian dish” to eat there. When we entered, we were greeted as usual and looked for a table in the window in the almost empty guest room. We only sat when an operation came to the table and the menus were enough. When asked about our drinks, my business partner ordered an apple choir (0,3l for 2,20 €, I myself a mineral water medium (0,25l for 2,00 €). The ladies in service had recognizable years of routine, but were always polite and friendly. As usual in this house, the service was inconspicuous, but always present when it was necessary to fulfill our desire. My business partner had no great hunger and ordered the “Bebras Hessischen Hof” salad, fresh leaf salads, tomatoes, cucumbers, fried huge garlic cloves and scallops, cooked egg, Schmanddressing” (9,90 €). After a moderate waiting period, the main dishes were brought, my companion ordered bread to salad. He didn't look very big, but it wasn't for her. On my plate there were two rabbit lobes, some pear potatoes, which proved to be pear croquettes and the host vegetables. The meat was extremely delicate and fell almost by itself from the bone and tasted, as well as the other ingredients, excellent. The size of the part was already limited for a lunch, I am very well fed. Environment The decor is suitable for the name of the restaurant, lots of wood in oak rustic, no white tablecloths, but small central blankets and on it small vases with one or two flowers as well as salt and pepper shakers. Chairs and benches have Pastellon seats or benches seat and back cushions. The tress is quite large, but it does not seem so often massive, but clearly solved. A flat-screen TV on the edge can be used for sports transfers if necessary, but this evening was not in operation. Cleanliness There were also no complaints regarding cleanliness, the restaurant was clean and well maintained, glasses, plates and cutlery were perfectly clean."
