do not rely on le pont de la tour, who appreciates his bookings. before some weeks I have booked le pont de la tour for a special meal to celebrate several family events. today, only 5 days before booking, they called me to cancel the reservation. because the restaurant is closed. a restaurant lock can be planned further. this has distorted me in the last minute and, inconspicuously, fighting to find an alternative. le pont de la tour is a restaurant for special occasions that most people plan well and wish for sure the winning booking. it is unacceptable to leave customers high and dry in the last minute. I will never book there again and warn others who want to do this.

I had to visit the same dinner as peter h that they canceled in the last minute. I am so stunned and horrified by the explanation from the restaurant that I simply have to comment. In summary, the restaurant seems to think well, take our booking then let us up and dry in the last minute if a lucrative "private dinner" wants to make a booking. if the restaurant has a booking and our booking is not sure that any decent restaurant that would care for an iota about its customers would tell the customer that the booking was provisional, so they could decide whether they would want to take the risk. it may not be fair or correct to just give us if it is too late to book another restaurant so that they can replace us with a customer who pays a little more we will never go back and I encourage others to avoid this restaurant to not reward naked greed and terrible ethics.

a very pleasant lunch. my man had the cattle cheeks and one of them was a bit over, but the other was excellent and so was the lobster. crepes suzette and tarte tartin were great. there were no hand towels in the gents. service was excellent.

I regularly visit customer dinner and was in many restaurants in london. a very important customer visited this week from Canada, and I wanted somewhere relaxed, but with great food and pont de la tour not disappointed. we had a wonderful meal, one of the best I had this year! I will be sure to visit again in the near future.

Khalid was so attentive and gave the best customer service. He knew the menu inside out and gave great recommendations. Also, the wine was great. I will definitely be back again.
