in the literature there are some works that are considered more critical from the adult. such a reaction can occur because it is considered a “provocation” due to “inappropriate behavior” that disregards the “seams”, the described brutality or because the used speeches are perceived as such as those up to today’s time as “inconsistent”. it doesn't always have to be the notorious marquis de sade but if even some consider because of pipipi, michel from lönneberga and others, then you can only wonder that such books have landed on the index. to this thema but also max and moritz with their thieves or the fairies of the brother grim. such works have been created or have been collected in a time when the population is far from being generally compulsory for school only from 1919, if necessary because of lack of knowledge of reading! such “moralising stories” were aimed primarily at “education citizenship”. To this day, it is very strongly debated whether picture books, which also sounds harmless, can be completely banned because of their content. on the other hand, if at the same time a pedagogical background lies, why all the excitement. now we would be at the thema: in the French history there were many people who have done something special. in 1844, the doctor heinrich hoffmann delivered the “prototype” of an extremely unused appearance – struwwelpeter. at the same time, it stands at the centre of the fountain named after it in the city. I know that the former residence of hoffmann is managed as a museum but can have changed since 2020, when the struwwelpetermuseum was opened in the new old town, I will turn to his vita there! I have a very long time back that I have read this book myself, so I would like to turn to the figures that make up the fountain! even there is a lot to discover! To understand what dr. hoffmann had enlivened to publish a book that contained both images and appropriate texts, there was a prehistory. Today, the parents of the little children can usually not decide which is the “right” for them among the numerous phenomena. for any old sexual thema you can find suitable references on the side or in the professional trade of trust. When I had to do with it myself, I filled myself with the “smack” – but in the transmitted sense, as I have pointed out several times in such a context: who has the choice, he also has the quality to find what fits! in the late spring of over 170 years it was quite different! after the motto “Self is the man”, because what he found in the shops did not say, he decided to do something for the recovery of his three-year-old sohnes. the available titles were to be “albern” from the building. I like these animal figures at the fountain figures created in 1985 by franziska Lenz-Gerharrz. find it a pity that it should be a little bigger down there under mine. in addition, because the sculpture has not been placed centrally in that area, but at its edge, the whole of the proportions acts a little “slate”. out of my sight, in order to be able to assign all the figures to the individual layers, one should know each one of them best! under this link they are assembled:[hidden link.] self-explanatory is the most famous among them. on the basis of this figure that protrudes beyond all others, I also saw it from the far away of the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately, at the time when I visited Frankfurt, the fountain was one of the few of them not in operation : . in addition, this was licked again, as found in sachsenhausen as a kind of mülleimer “abused”. the total appearance could be clearly improved from my own, by the legislatures of the birds contaminating a large part of the ensemble. in contrast to the historical art objects in the city, this already has clear traces of corrosion after more than 35 years. so I do not mean the green patina that covers the individual parts, but when you do the effort, under the “rock zip” ; look, you will find what should not be after the time span. It can be called "artistic freedom" but it does not seem to me to be the point why between the two sides with the different figures a beam with water jets had to be in it... the sculpture is composed of different partial areas, which are a little stepped apart. When you look at the individual “characters”, you will find that they also vary slightly in size. we would be back with peter who was put on a sockel! on each side 3 of the layers are shown imagewise. the direction of the main guard are: the hunter, paulinchen and the flying robert recognizable at his rainshade. on some photos I found in the net, through a mechanism flows out at the eyes of the cat water, which can also be interpreted as drinking to their “Herrin”. I find it worth mentioning that the figures of the “Suppenkaspers”, “Zappel-Philipp” and the “Daumenlutscher” are completely missing from this object. there are several in the “black boy”. the bearded man at the edge of the stretch – “Nikolaus” punishes the bosty young who have been common to the other-colored by throwing them into an oversized tint barrel, so that they should draw a “lection” from it. this and other methods should be better uncommitted, because their “intention” is a satire, as such was not perceived at all! Perhaps it makes a difference if the struwwelpeterbrunnen should be in operation! should that be the case, comes an update where I will tell you. it has become very long again but I would like to give an info: first I have linked the corresponding images to the wrong address. on the other side of the mainz there is another fountain with the name! no idea why I had to restart this address, which is not a doublette of the others!

This was our third annual visit to Café Hauptwache with our travel group. The foods are reliable very good as the value. For the first time we sat up in a quiet area, and I will say I missed at least a little the ambience of the more lively main floor. The upper floor service was slow even according to European standards, but we have nothing to do with it. I highly recommend this restaurant and the surrounding area is great on foot and views!
Service employees should get a training on the right behavior. Standing at the edge and playing with the phone while the guests are waiting to order, I personally find an unding. The part is a joke!!! For say and write 5.80€ A piece of hand cheese with a few onions and three slices of bread is a groundless freak. These are prices that are not even justified for Frankfurt city centre. The battle plate for two people Naja can be contested whether the portion size is sufficient or not a pair of Frankfurter was a carving and a witch (in which the Schwarte was not even crispy. The taste of the food was so lala partly the food really tasted nothing at all. In my opinion, this restaurant is the purest tour alone the small but fine hint to the bill “Tip is not included Thank you: ” that was definitely my last visit to Café Hauptwache.
This is a great place to watch you eat decent food in the centre of Frankfurt. The service was great, it wasn't too busy, even at 20:00 on a Saturday night. Some of the sections are large so you can share. Note that beer sales closed at 22:00, not a problem for us, but make sure that last call if you want another one.
