In Boppard, there are only a few restaurants that are very popular among the locals. Zur Alten Schmiede is not one of them, and for a good reason. It serves the basics very well but the problem is, that there is nothing special about the place. In fact, I had to work really hard to remember the place just in order to write this review.

Kleine gemütliche Kneipe mit leckerem Essen, gutem Bier und die beiden "Besten" in der Küche und an der Theke :-) . Man trifft immer nette Leute....
Trotz wenig Betrieb zog die Bedienung es vor erst die Gläser des Nachbartisches abzuräumen, bevor man auch nur mit mir...More
