I encourage everyone who enjoys nature to visit Brooklyn bridge park, it has an amazing view of Manhattan, and you can have picnics and family gathering. It is great to take someone out on a date, catch up with a friend, or to be alone with yourself. Although it is downtown which is in the city. The park has a way of making you feel connected to nature while enjoying the scenic views. There are also various of restaurants around the place as well as some sweets to indulge yourself when you do get hungry. Although I usually go to the park in the evening until night. I can assure you, you will enjoy yourself regardless if you are a morning bird or a night owl.
Nice park, good views from the river to lower Manhattan. Seems this downtown park might be a bit undiscovered. Not terribly busy. Bonus playground for those with young ones. You really don't want to drive here. Walk, train, ferry or bike are all realistic. Walking distance to the photogenic Washington street if that's your thing. Timeout indoor markets is also here which is fun and offers rooftop views over the river.
What a good way to spend the day!!! The park consists of so many things for everyone. There are volleyball courts, football fields, playgrounds, water park, ice-creaming restaurants and shopping facilities. The bathrooms are plentiful and clean. Parking was easy as there were metered parking spaces. $2 per hour. Take the family and have an incredible day in Brooklyn.
to.meditate and walk. A definitely tourist part of the city, but not crowded when you pass by all Dumbo popular spots. Saturday and Sunday has a flea market worth the jump. I love it here and find that this neighborhood has changed a lot for the better. I like this area has the convenience of the clean bathrooms nearby. Definitely a day off!! See it out!!!
